Overcoming PC Paralysis

So, the foiling of the Fort Dix plot last week in New Jersey hinged on an alert Circuit City clerk who thought there was something just a little bit fishy about a bunch of bearded jihad chanting fanatics filming 90 minutes of target practice at a Pennsylvania firing range. Yet, even with the next massacre in the name of “Allah” staring him right in the face the clerk was uncertain whether he should report anything in case he might draw the ire of the PC police. According to a co-worker the eventual hero stated, “Should I call someone or is that being racist?” Where was this suicidal instinct incubated? Was it a leftist high school social studies teacher or college professor, some brain dead Hollywood starlet, or the Dixie Chicks that left him with the impression that reporting mad men with automatic rifles was somehow unacceptable? This is a dangerous milieu the “hear no evil, see no evil” multi-culturists have generated. Thankfully, common sense prevailed. This time.
