Toward Sensible Healthcare Reform

President Bush is proposing an innovative change to the way healthcare benefits are viewed by the tax man. It is certainly a step in right direction introducing a measure of market force influence to the process without adding bureaucracy. Merrill Matthews on the Human Events website describes nicely how the plan would work and what benefits might be expected. Isn’t it interesting how most of the new and original ideas these days are coming from conservatives? Old guard liberals are the ones stuck in a rut with a worn out playbook.
